Asifa India is delighted to share an exciting update from the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, held in May this year, where nearly 50 exceptional Creators from India and across the globe where invited to showcase their remarkable talent. Many of these WAVES Awards of Excellence winners and finalists are now actively pitching their projects at various national and international festivals via Waves Film Bazaar.
Recently 14 Asifa India finalists of WAOE were invited at IFFI, Goa, gaining significant visibility and international exposure. The Asifa India-Awards of Excellence finalists were selected across 10 categories of both Student and Professional in all AVGC-XR areas.
Waves Awards of Excellence (WAOE) is proudly managed by Asifa India in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).
A special note of gratitude to MIB & WAVES Bazaar for offering valuable opportunities on regular basis for Winners of Create in India Challenge at global platforms such as IBIS (Spain), India Joy, IGDC and most recently at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa.
This time at IFFI-Goa, the winners not only showcased and pitched their work to delegates but also received wild card entry to Creative Minds of Tomorrow.
With participation from over 90 countries, the WAVES Film Bazaarβorganised by the Ministry of I&Bβbrought together global studios, investors, policymakers, industry leaders, and emerging creators to shape the future of film, broadcast, digital media, and the AVGC-XR sector, under the umbrella of the Create in India Challenge.
The Awards of Excellence by ASIFA India marks a significant milestone in strengthening Indiaβs animation and creative talent pipeline. India is rapidly emerging as one of the worldβs most dynamic creative powerhouses.
