AniMela 2026: Where Creativity Meets Craft
AniMela is a dedicated to promoting and advancing visual arts and cutting-edge technologies. As India’s first International Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics & XR Festival, AniMela continues to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Third edition of festival was held from 19–22 February 2026 at Whistling Woods International, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
As a partner supporting the animation community, ASIFA India, under the leadership of its President Sanjay Khimesara, curated and organized impactful workshops that emphasized learning by doing.
Workshops at AniMela weren’t about watching — they were about making.
Guided by masters, participants sketched, acted, drew, caricatured, and journaled their way through techniques that transform practice into skill.
From acting for animation to figure drawing, visual journaling to caricature creation — these hands-on sessions ensured that participants walked in curious and walked out capable.
