What a visit to Chitkara Design School for CHIAFF — the Chitkara International Animation Film Festival.
Asifa India President Sanjay Khimesara participated with nearly 40 galaxy of Stars including Dhimant Vyas, Vaibhav Kumaresh, Dadi Pudumjee, Annie Doshi, Nina Sabnani, Upamanyu Bhattacharya, Prateek Sethi, Rob, Ashish Kulkarni, Biren Ghose, Aubrey Aloysius, Swaroop Deb, Nishit Takia, Avinash, Manoj Menon, Lavanya, Balram, Riya, Rohit, Prakash, Vivek Nag, Debjyoti Saha, Shaheen Sheriff, Tony Singh, Ravi Ranjan, Saksham, Nidhi, Azeem etc
But here’s what I’ll actually remember about CHIAFF:
The student who walked up mid-corridor just to say thank you to their favourite creative icon. The team member who checked on every guest personally — multiple times, an eye for details on each and every activity. The energy of a campus that genuinely loves animation and isn’t afraid to show it.
CHIAFF describes itself as the friendliest animation festival in the world. Having now experienced it firsthand — I’m not arguing.
Thank you Sanjay Jangid, Manpal Setia, Chitkara Design School, Chitkara University, Punjab Management and the entire CHIAFF team for the incredible hospitality. You made the visit memorable in the best possible way.
