We were delighted to participate in the @Chitkara International Animation Film Festival (CHIAFF) at Chitkara Design School, where ASIFA India President Sanjay Khimesara was invited as Speaker and Panelist for the session — Pixels & Policy.

The panel, moderated by Manoj A Menon, brought together Ashish Kulkarni, Nishith Takia, Riya Arora and Vivek Nag for a candid, forward-looking conversation on the intersection of creative policy, industry advocacy and India’s rapidly growing AVGC-XR ecosystem.

CHIAFF is unlike most animation festivals. Accessible, warm and deliberately designed to make the world of animation less intimidating — it is a space where students, veterans and emerging practitioners share the same room on equal terms. That spirit aligns deeply with what Asifa India believes in: building a community that is open, inclusive and generative.
